Join us as we meet twice a month to fellowship and use our creative gifts to create quilts, blankets, hats, scarves, wheelchair and walker accessories.

Items are given to individuals dealing with long term illness or disabilities, new parents and local charities.

We encourage people of all ages and genders to join us. If you are new to sewing and would like to learn, we have people who would be happy to teach and share their insights with you.

When: Second Mondays and fourth Saturdays from noon-4:00 pm (subject to change)
Hosts: Pat Keeley and Roselea Carslin
Where: River Ridge Covenant Church

Second Family (55+ but younger friends welcome too!)
Second Family is a group designed for adults who are looking for fellowship opportunities. At first blush, this name may seem quite different from those used by other adult church groups. We hope, however, that people will hear it and consider the broader implications that it has. Good family relationships offer many of our greatest pleasures, learning opportunities, and strongest bonds. If we can function as a “second family” to each other and to others we will continue to have a useful, healthy Christ-honoring organization.

We have a potluck luncheon once a month, sometimes accompanied by a short program but always with good food and fellowship! In addition, we have a variety of things in mind for those who may enjoy getting together for some additional activities.

When: Second Thursdays, 11:30 am
